The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET 2021) on September 12, 2021. The exam is to be conducted as a pen and paper-based test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). We have already covered the important aspects of the NEET-UG exam in multiple articles. The question paper analysis of NEET 2021 will be done after the completion of the exam. This article analyses the question papers of previous year NEET (UG) exams, their difficulty level and weightage given to various subjects. This will help you know the past year trends and understand the demands of the exam, their difficulty level, etc.

NEET 2020 Exam Analysis (Phase 1)

NEET 2020 – Exam Analysis (Phase 2)

Phase 2 of the NEET exam was held on October 14, 2020, for candidates who could not appear in the first phase of the exam due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the first time in the history of NEET, the aspirants were given a second chance to take up the exam. Many aspirants rated Phase 2 of the exam as moderately difficult.

Physics Section

  • The toughest of the three sections.
  • Questions were asked from topics like Heat, Waves, Units, Modern Physics etc.
  • Most of the questions were picked from 12th standard NCERT

Chemistry Section

  • Questions were rated as easy to moderate.
  • Questions from Organic Chemistry were slightly difficult according to candidates.

Biology Section

  • Once again, the easiest section of the three sections.
  • Both Botany and Zoology questions were rated as easy
  • 48 questions from Botany and 42 questions from Zoology

NEET 2019 Paper Analysis
