Delhi MBBS Admission Eligibility Criteria
- Students should complete 10+2 level of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects with English.
- The minimum score varies to different category of students. General candidates must have scored at least 50% marks in the Intermediate examination.
- For candidates belonging to the reserved category, the minimum percentage required is 40%.
- The lower age limit to apply programme is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years.
- Candidates must also have qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) for the Delhi MBBS admissions.
Delhi MBBS Admission – Documents Required
- Printout of NEET 2021 admit card of the candidate
- Score card of NEET
- Class 10 mark sheet (printout of both sides) of the candidate
- Both sides printout of Class 11 mark sheet of the candidate
- Mark sheet of class 12 with both sides printout of the candidates
- Transfer certificate of school last attended by the candidate
- Certificate of proof of study from Class 6 to 12 by the aspiring candidate
- Nativity certificate for candidates who have studied Class 6 to 12 outside the state if applicable
- Parent’s certificate as mentioned above for those who are the domicile of the state
- Permanent community certificate, if applicable for the candidate
Delhi MBBS Application Process and Counseling
After students qualify 10+2 education as per the eligibility criteria, students have to register for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) within the stipulated date and time. Application forms have to be submitted with all other requisites and fee has to be paid online. After then, Candidates need to attend the exam and qualify in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam (NEET) as per their category with the required cut off. NEET-UG results will be released with the merit lists of all candidates in the order of merit, after which aspirants can opt for AIQ and/or State Quota. Based on the aspirant’s marks and merit, they will be called for the counselling process by the respective committee. Once the students lock their seats in the counselling process, they can confirm their seats visiting the respective college and by completing the mbbs admission procedure. Students who couldn’t find suitable college for them in the counselling process can opt for the direct mbbs admission procedure.
